Cocomutt Dog Ice Cream is a Christchurch based business created by dog lovers for dog lovers.We wanted to create a treat for your dog which they can enjoy under the table at your local café, a cooling reward after a visit to the vet, a hydrating treat after a long walk or just because you want to treat your best mate / your fur baby / your friend!

The Story

Meet Boo, our old girl of 13, our inspiration, our mixed breed loveable ‘mutt’.Boo was a big ice cream lover, a big drooler and when it came to dairy products, a very big farter! So during the Winter of 2022, Boo and her tribe (us, the Brewers) decided to make an ice cream that dogs could enjoy without the side effects which not only tasted great but was also nutritious.Boo was always in the kitchen with us and became our first CEO, our keen taste tester and biggest supporter. She watched the creations, the mess, the disasters and finally the success all with a puppy dog grin.
